In 2005, we bought our first home—a patch of compacted soil and endless potential. Jason had a way of seeing things others couldn’t: the possibility for something extraordinary. With his design vision and my passion for horticulture, we turned that blank canvas into a thriving sanctuary. It became a place where our kids grew up barefoot, paddleboarding in the summer, climbing trees, skating on the driveway, and exploring a world we built one plant and one dream at a time.
Those early years weren’t just about building a home; they were about learning what it means to create something meaningful together. Jason’s talent for design and my love for the earth became a partnership that grew into something bigger than we ever imagined. By 2017, we founded Environmental Artistry, a company dedicated to creating breathtaking outdoor spaces that celebrate the beauty of nature.
But we wanted to do more than transform landscapes. We wanted to inspire people to step outside, to embrace life’s adventures, and to grow—in every way possible. That’s when In Love With Trees was born.
The Power of Connection
Through every stage of our journey, one thing has remained constant: the belief that small actions can create a ripple effect of joy and connection. That belief is what led me, along with my friend Paul, to start Long Island Rocks in 2017. It was a simple idea—paint a rock, hide it, and brighten someone else’s day.
What started as a grassroots project has grown into a community of thousands, all sharing creativity and kindness one rock at a time. Though Paul’s passing in 2022 left a hole in our hearts, his legacy lives on through the group and the joy it continues to spread. The spirit of Long Island Rocks—connection, creativity, and community—is the same spirit that drives In Love With Trees.

We’ve worked hard to build a life, a family, and now a movement that stands for something bigger than ourselves.
